Although her name and appearance suggest that she is Dutch, designer Maaike Stofferis (31) from fashion label Maison M’Elise has only been living in Rotterdam for five years. She was born in London and moved no less than nineteen times, from Europe to the Middle East and back. Now she makes wedding dresses and party clothes with influences from all cultures she got to know. Editor-in-chief Liza thought it was time for a chat with the designer.
